Dennis & Donna From Illinois

Been browsing here quite awhile and intently using the search to learn. Picking up our Scamp next month and thought it's time I post here. Since I'm starting to come up with questions I'm having a hard time finding the answers to using search, I'll probably start posting more as time goes on for these trailer newbies.

Thanks to all of you who take the time to answer peoples questions.

Welcome, Donna and Dennis!

Congratulations on the new Scamp! Fall is absolutely my favorite season to camp. Hope you'll get some great trips in before the snow flies.

I would recommend planning to camp a few days in the vicinity of Backus after you take delivery. Test out all the systems. New RV's of all stripes often come with a few bugs, and Scamp is no exception. They will take good care of you even after you return home, but it's simpler to deal with things at the factory.

Happy camping!

Definitely staying near Backus

Thanks. We are planning a few days stay near Backus for a good shakedown, then a few other stops in Minnesota to see the sites, then heading south to warm climates for a month or so. We'll have a pretty good handle on trailer camping by then, I'm sure.

We've been doing more traveling lately and I'm looking forward to no more hotel rooms and taking my "room" with me. No more hauling stuff in and out of rooms.
