I'm new to the forum and delighted to report we've found our
Scamp. I had been looking since March, and encountered lots of close calls and almost made offers on several nice Scamps, but never quite clicked with any of them. I was even making plans for a new factory trailer and the wait for a late summer delivery.
On Wednesday, as I did every morning, I checked my sources and saw an ad for a 2011 standard with bath/shower, air,
furnace, and several other nice features. I dashed up there (about 30 miles from our home!) made an offer, and drove it home!
It's been an interesting experience. I've seen Scamps
sold sight unseen, bidding wars over less-than-desirable trailers and people standing in lines to view a trailer
for sale.
But now it's time to hit the roads of the Great Northwest. First trip? Look for us at the John Day Fossil Beds...
