Fiber Stream Info Wanted

Hi, I'm new to this group. I have a 1977 Fiber Stream Trailer. I bought it Years ago. Had No title or paperwork on it. I finally decided to fix it up. But I cant seem to find the vin on the tongue? Or I'm not even sure if theses trailers had a vin on the tongue? Any and all help would be great! Thanks

If it is not on the tongue, but you know the VIN #, perhaps it could be stamped on the tongue with locksmith's stamps. I am not advocating anything illegal. I urge you to get some expert opinions before proceding.

Maybe someone here knows how to locate the factory VIN, which is preferable.

No VIN on the tongue. The Fiber Stream has identifying stickers in two locations. One is on the drivers side a few inches up from the very bottom just in front of the water fill spouts. The second is to the left of the entrance door about 3' up. Both of these weather severely and may not be readable. I had to have a new ID sticker made by Oregon DMV which reflected the information in the title. As you have no title, you will need to work with your DMV to figure out a solution. You may need to do a "rubbing" of one of these to see if you could read the impression of the original ID.

I'm about done rebuilding mine. Please let me know if you need any information on the trailer or parts.
