Finally, Finally...

...got an egg, after a couple of years of hanging around here learning things. Found a nice '74 Trillium 1300, in much better than average (at least for here) condition. Interior and exterior are clean as a whistle - after three years of sitting outside there is absolutely no sign of moisture within it and no 'fuggy' smell.

Furnace works, fridge works, stove works, upholstery is good, door fit is snug, relatively new tires...worst I can find is a missing spare, a slight sag in the aft roof and some surface rust on the frame. Should have her home in the driveway by week's end...

Hi Richard,
Hello from the west. Glad you found your trailer! Looks like it's in good shape. I know you'll enjoy it a lot this summer (and hopefully many years beyond).
Phil

Thanks, All

Appreciate the 'welcome', tho I've been hanging around here for years. Great board, lots of good info and helpful people.

Hope to get the Trillium home tomorrow - truck's heading to my mechanic's place to get it's teeth brushed and hair combed for it's new position while I'm out of town for maybe a week. Hope to get a few short trips in before I head to the Yukon for 5 weeks of a Newfoundland summer - too far to take the trailer this early in the game, so I'll be looking to do a few on-island runs the fall.

For now, plans are to possibly go 14" on the wheels and tires (have to geta spare anyway, can get AL Ranger/Mazda rims from a friend), wire-brush and repaint the chassis, and fill the propane tank. After that, we'll see...

Trillium

What a nice find. Proves once again that patience is what it takes ( patience is a quality of which I have very little ). Glad to see that you finally have just what you were looking for. Now comes the fun part. Enjoy !!! Lee and Norma
