Greetings from northeast Kansas. We just bought a 1989 13 ft Scamp. It'll be making it's maiden voyage to Rocky Mountain National Park Labor Day weekend. We haven't thrown away our tents yet. Just some 50 something bones needing up off the ground once in awhile. Looking for other small travel trailer owners in the Kansas City area to share a campfire with once in awhile. Let the fun begin!

Congratulations and welcome to the fiberglass family. Send in a couple of photo's. My wife and I also started in back packing tents, went to bigger tents and thicker sleeping pads until we finally decided to take the plunge and get a small trailer. Now we sleep great and stay warm. I also like hearing the sound of rain at night, instead of thinking of the soggy mess of a tent that must be shoved in the back of the SUV and dried out in the garage.

Thanks for the warm welcome!! Robin, we'll miss you by a week but will wave from the highway. Going to find curtain fabric today and new cabinet knobs-retrofitting the interior to the fifties! Pictures forthcoming. And it's raining in Kansas today-whoopie!!!
