Girl camping

Hi I'm Tammie, I love the idea of girl camping. My husband doesn't really enjoy camping so I take the granddaughters. They enjoy it but I would like to camp with grown up once and awhile. There are many groups out west that get together but I'm not able to drive that far to go camping. I would love to meet up with girls here in Ohio if there are any out there. Anyone interested in an Ohio girl camping group?

Check out this organization: RVing Women

Looks like they have a Great Lakes chapter (includes Ohio). The groups have organized events and camping weekends. The events are a lot of fun and you get to meet some amazing women!

It's always amazing the number of different groups in Meetup.com. You might want to check out what's in your area.

I know there is a group of vintage and glamper folks (glamour campers) who are mostly women in Michigan who get together once in a while. Pam Garlow is part of this group and she can be found on the UHaul Camper Facebook page or here, too. She runs the Algonac Rally in Michigan north of Detroit the weekend after Labor Day. You could look for that posting in upcoming events.
