The Uhaul wiring is a little odd. Ours had two separate wires for the marker lights as is typical of freight trailers. With the four pin plug I had to wire them all together. I also wired the tail lights so that I'm using only the red part of the lens for tail & turn lights. You'll need a converter box to use the amber as turn light only. Modifications we have done are: Fantastic Fan, new power converter, new 110 & 12 volt wiring, additional interior lighting and 110 outlets, 3 new windows, shelves in closet, removed furnace and put a storage drawer in its place, exterior light in place of furnace vent, remove solar panel, storage drawers under bed, access door to dead space below furnace location, and replace ice box with a dorm fridge. All that and several other repairs. Have fun with your new camper.

Try this one. Fiberglass RV - Document Center - Uhaul parts cross reference

Or go to the home page, then documents on the left, then at the bottom trailer manufacturers and click on Uhaul ...

Rear lights

Wow so trial and error prevails. I have running, brake, and turn lights!
Just used the 4 prong method for now.

Regarding the lock and hasp on your door, I assume the door locking mechanism no longer operates. These are hard to find and expensive, but they can be disassembled and fixed. You may need to work on your door hinges, too, to bring the lock back in alignment with the door frame. MichaelM has good information about putting on new door hinges.

Yes that door needs some work. I don't have the original key so I am not sure what to do about that...

A lock smith can make a new key no problem. If I recall Chris Jones had that done. That is a Bargman L300 lock which is about $300, so anything that you can do to salvage it is money well spent.

The striker plate on the door frame is adjustable, there are bolts that go through from the back. Probably have to reach in past the furnace. Some parts available on ebay.

Welcome to the uhaul club! If your lock has a code stamped in it. Just write it down and take to a locksmith and they can cut you a new one. I took my whole lock in and that's all they needed.

Lock cylinders/w keys are occasionally available for the L-300 on eBay or you might find one on line somewhere. I paid around $30 each for two that I wanted to change the keys on. For me, it was amazing how disassembly, cleaning, reassembly/tighten everything and then lubricating them at how they work like new...
