I am in the market for a small RV camper for some fulltime travel with my dog Max (i.e., 16', toilet/shower for me, and less than 2000lbs dry weight)...currently I have been learning that there are a variety of manufacturers, models, and availability to choose from...

I appreciate that this site is available--it looks like a good resource, thank you for being here.

It sure feels like the worst of this virus is the loss of liberty and whom is making these decisions--as a Veteran, I have my thoughts and opinions about that...

The lightest 16’ full bath model is probably the Scamp 16. Dry weight will be right around 2000#, but the actually road weight will be more like 2400-2600#. Will you be needing air conditioning, awning, furnace...? What is the tow rating of your intended tow vehicle?

When you feel that way just remember what childhood was like. When you were not allowed to go anywhere without permission and you had bedtime curfews. Your friends had to get permission to come over and your parents had to approve the friends you did have come over.

Then remember what it was like in the military when people got restricted to barracks and could not leave the base without permission from their officers. Having to be there for roll call times. Plus having to check in and out at the gate of the base. Visitors to the base were also restricted.


So nothing new is going on that you are not already well prepared to deal with. Was there ever a time when orders from parents or officers always seemed to make good sense to you?
