Greetings from Southern Ontario!

Our family bought a 1970 Boler 1300 in late July of this year. We had it out a few times this summer and now my husband and I are counting down the days until the camping season resumes in the spring. We hear EggFest 2016 in May is a great spot...

We have updated the interior from when it was first purchased: painting the ensolite, cabinets and doors, installing a new floor, installing a bunk for our two kids, covering/creating cushions from the bare foam that came with purchase, redoing the curtains and installing cabinet shelving.

Nice to meet everyone and we hope to see you in May!

That's a sharp-looking trailer, Kate!

I'm curious about the bunks- is that the original flip-up bunk with a ladder and side rail added, or did you build the whole thing from scratch?

It was built from scratch using a similar plan to the original, namely the shower curtain holders to stabilize the bottom of the dowel (and in ours, one at the top as well...the kids would have to lift it a solid inch before it would pop out) and the ledge under the window to support the window side. Ours is not hinged but rests on the ledge and "locks" in using dowel pins. We travel with it down and put it up when parked.

Welcome.

I like the colour scheme - it has a nautical feel to it.

Whereabouts in Southern Ontario are you?

Very Impressive Kate ! I'm quite jealous, and I now feel I should get into a higher gear on our 1973 1300 reno project as well. Welcome to the FGRV site, and from another Ontarian too !

Love the look on the interior. It "pops" but isn't at all gaudy. I like that.

Great looking Boler Kate! I like the look of the bunks with the rail. My 10 year old rolled out of the top bunk bed one night this summer, scared the wits out of my wife and I but my daughter didn't even wake up. It was a funny story the next morning.
Your Boler looks great, very light and airy, nicely done.
