Trailer: Scamp 19 ft 5th Wheel

Welcome Tony
This trailer is was built before 1984 and later than the late 70. It looks complete and fairly good shape from what I can see. Count on spending $800-$900 for tires and axle. Count on another $300-$500 or more for repairs and upgrades. Then you have check floors for rot. Floor repair not too expensive but dirty and a PIA if you have not done it before. Also check the door for fit and the frame for excessive rust and cracks.
A stripped out S-13 rolling shell with title is worth well over $1K. I did not price this trailer since not seeing it in person, just giving you additional factors to consider.

Hey eddie... yep been thru the floor thingy,,, FUN FUN!<<
Question;; these models have what type suspension? I don't see leaf springs so torsion? the door does seem to have a gap at the bottom , any idea about the cause of the gap.. its only att the bottom 1/4 and along the threshold..

There is suppose to be a piece of rubber foam weather strip 3/4" x 3/4" that glues to the metal weather strip at the floor edge. Because people are always stepping on it, it is easily knocked off.(no big deal) The trailer takes a #9 Dexter 2200# torflex axle.
