Hello

Motorhome would indicate you want to drive it. This forum is pretty much about fiberglass molded shell trailers and 5th wheels, lovingly referred to as "Eggs."

We keep the motors in the tow vehicles.

Hi, Bob! Just a heads-up... this particular forum is focused on all-molded fiberglass trailers. That means so-called "egg"-type trailers like Scamp, Casita, and many others.

Mohos, whether all-molded (Sunrader & others) or conventional (laminated fiberglass panels) are a bit beyond our scope here. It's not obvious from the web address, but the home page spells it out.

Of course, you are more than welcome to stick around. Perhaps a molded trailer might be just what you need!

Personally, I like having one less drivetrain to maintain and being able to update my tow vehicle periodically to gain performance, economy, and safety improvements without having to buy a whole new RV. Nice thing about smaller molded fiberglass trailers is you don't have to have a great big truck to pull them.

If you do go the motorhome route, it seems the diesel pushers are much better when pulling a runaround vehicle than the gas engines. If you can, check out sites like rvshare.com and rent a unit. Drive it and learn what you do and don't like. They are big investments, and combining your glamping experience with a motor can be a godsend or a huge headache.
