Hello All, More Noobs

Hello all,

My wife Chris and I just purchased our first RV, a 2005 Casita 17' and our maiden voyage starts tomorrow.

For me, camping in a tent off a motorcycle is sufficient, so a 17' trailer is luxury digs.

We are excited to try this out, and look forward to all the knowledge and new friends here on the forum.

Cheers!

I hope your maiden voyage goes well!!! I have always been a tent camper and NEVER thought I would enjoy RV camping, but after my first trip I was hooked!!! The set up and take down is amazing! You can start the relaxing, hiking, fishing, or whatever it is you do soooo much sooner than with tent camping! Anyways I hope you and the wife have a blast and I will be watching for an update post!!

First trip-A success!

The maiden voyage was a success. My wife Chris and I went to Stampede Reservoir with friends and enjoyed it so much we extended to a third night.

We tested all the Casita's systems and found everything in order with one minor leak in the shower trap. We did our first "dump" and it was not too bad.

Chris was not 100% when we left, but was already planning a Pismo Beach trip on the way home.

My motorcycles are going to be mad at me.

You can see the little Casita in this pic.

Hoping to pick one up this week - 17' Casita - had a Burro years ago, haven't "camped" in years, but starting to get excited about the possibilities!
