Hello Everyone!

New member here, we are Perry & Debbie. We live in San Jose, CA and have owned our '07 Casita 17' SD for a little over a year. I recall looking at this site along with several others when we were searching for our Casita, which we eventually found only a few miles away. Our longest trip has been a 5-day trip down the California coast but we plan some longer trips this year. Debbie is an avid birder that loves to spend time following migratory birds, so some of our trips this year will be up and down the Central Valley of California. We formerly towed with our '97 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4WD but it was a bit tired and under-powered so updated to a '17 Honda Ridgeline RTL-T AWD. So far we have used the Ridgeline on a couple of trips and has all the power and comfort we need, including carrying our bikes and kayaks while towing. Look forward to hearing and sharing experiences with other fiberglass trailer owners.

Welcome, Perry and Debbie!

The Ridgeline & Casita sound like a great pair, especially with your toys.

Happy travels!

Thanks Jon, we hope to make it out your direction this Spring after we attend my niece's college graduation in Ogden, UT then headed South through some of the National Parks in Utah and then the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.

Hello Everyone!

We are also in your neck of the woods fairly often visiting in-laws in San Jose and Salinas. Two years ago we took the Scamp up the Central Coast to a Thanksgiving gathering. My avatar photo was taken on the PCH south of Big Sur. I enjoyed Pinnacles NP, though we didn't camp there. A stop for cioppino at Moss Landing is usually on our itinerary.

Enjoy your visit to northern Arizona. Late spring is a nice time to visit. If you have time, side trips to Monument Valley and Canyon de Chelly are worth the trouble. There's a small campground at the mouth of the canyon.

Great birding in SE Arizona if you want to drive a little further south. Madera Canyon, Sierra Vista, Patagonia, Cave Creek....
