Hello from Alberta

We just bought a '79 Beachcomber and are super excited to take it on a trip to Texas. We would love to Reno it but we have no idea where to start.
Looking forward to being part of this group and many trips in the new trailer.

I was hoping to buy a Ventura this weekend but it just sold. :-( Maybe the new owner will show up here.

Welcome to you both, Mark and Evelyn!

This forum is full of knowledgeable people especially those who have done top to bottom renovations.. I am certain that you will be able to find info to do your own reno either by looking back in the search files or else posing questions and photos and asking for help.

The camping season is upon us and you in Alberta have been getting summer weather already. We here in NB are just anticipating some warmer days this week which will be welcome.....we had snow flurries on Monday so summer temps would be nice!!

Again, welcome to you both.

Welcome, Mark! Congrats on the new trailer. Have fun on your trip to TX!

As to a reno, you're doing well by using it as is for a while. Then you'll know what works for you and what doesn't. Start a thread with your ideas and pictures, and I'm sure you'll get some advice and guidance. Meantime, read all you can. There are lots of old threads on renovations, some simple, some elaborate.

Evelyn, these small eggs don't last long, especially if they're in decent condition and priced right. But there will be others. Persistence pays off.

Happy camping, all!
