Hi folks, in Steve from Victoria, BC Just getting into to market for a 17 trailer. I've always admired the escapes and scamps at the campgrounds.
We do a lot of logging roads when camping, so from my research it seems like
fiberglass is the way to go.
The
Bigfoot 17 (19 would be preferred but I've only ever seen one
for sale, that
sold immediately) appears to be the sweet spot in that segment with its additional width, and having been around long enough that they pop up within our budget. (Casita Spirit as well, but they seem rarer and more costly up here)
I would expect an
axle flip and bigger
tires to be done pretty much immediately (any weak points to look for, or other low hanging fruit to make it viable on rough roads?)
Hopefully we find something this spring!
