Hello from coastal NC
Just bought a 19' Escape along with my lovely wife of 38 years. We are lifetime lovers of camping and the outdoors. My wife is retired and I am close. Our dream adventure is to tour the West. We pick up our Escape in sometime between May and August. Our travel companions are two dogs. We are big time dog people.

Welcome to FGRV Bob. One thing about wintering in the SW is you don't need to worry about winterizing your TT .

Welcome to FGRV, BeachBob. Congratulations on ordering your new Escape! Tell us a bit about your dogs? Sizes, names, where they'll sleep in your new Escape?
We have two older pug girls; the older sleeps in a plastic barrel liner underneath the rear bed, with a plastic-wrapped pillow underneath some lightweight blanketing...the younger sleeps on top of the rear bed, as far beyond my feet as I can keep her...though she creeps up on me all night anyway.
BEST
Kai

Thanks to everyone. Our dogs are Tibetan Spaniels. Small in size at 12# and 18#. The male is Mickey and the female is Lotus. My wife says Lotus is the cutest and smartest. She is hyper and an avid face licker. Mickey is easy going. In our current camper they bunk in with us. We may change this and give them their own sleeping places. Where does everybody's dogs sleep?

bob we are heading to a small town outside of Ashville next week Shelby comes to mind. I hate your barbecue by the way not the style we are used to in the Midwest!
our sauce is more of a ketchup base yours is vinegar! I don't like some of KCs either they use a vinegar base and put dynamite in it. it is hot hot hot
regards
bob

Bob I was the same way when I came here from PA 30 years ago. Now the vinegar based is my favorite.

Bob sounds like we share similar plans. I will be traveling with my wife and two cavachons about the size of a small spaniel. Really want to boondocks on some BLM land in Idaho, Nevada and Arizona. Get far away from civilization and light pollution just to see the night sky. That will make the trip worthwhile. Good luck and God bless.

Bob try the mustard based sauce. Most places put brown sugar in it. Gives it a sweet taste. Good stuff.
