Hello from Montana!

My husband and I just bought a 2008 16' Scamp and we are so excited! It is going to fit our little family so well. It took a bit to find (searched Craigslist from 7 states) but we found our gem! Sooooooo excited!!!!!

Congratulations!

We have a Scamp layout seven and love it. I removed the upper bunk and converted it into a daytime couch and nighttime bed. I sleep there and Sue sleeps in the rear dinette which is always a bed now so no crawling over each other in the middle of the night. The side dinette works fine for just the two of us.

Ours is all electric with AC/heat strip. We cook on a butane stove. No reefer -- prefer a cooler in the truck topper. I added shelves to the closet next to the door for better use of the space. We camp mostly at campgrounds with bathroom facilities but have a porta-potti for emergency use.

Basically it's a fiberglass tent and we like it that way. I was hard pressed to give up tent camping but our minimalist Scamp is working out just fine.
