Trailer: 75 Trillium 13 ft
Posts: 23
Hi There, hope I'm putting this in the right place!

Just wanted to introduce myself, I recently purchased a 1975 Trillium 1300 and have found these internet boards invaluable resources to get myself up to speed!

I grew up in Markham, Ontario where the original Trilliums were manufactured, and my family camped a lot in my earlier days. I had seen the rows of Trilliums in the lot many times, and always thought they were the neatest things.

So this is practically the realization of a life-long dream for me

The trailer appears to be mostly original, in decent shape but in need of some TLC... which is my plan leading up to spending 2 weeks in Nova Scotia in August.

I'm off to a good start taking care of the "essentials" like Solar Power... What can I say I'm told it was too good a deal to pass up.

Now I have to start fixing things I really should be spending my money on!

Thanks and expect to see more of me around here!

Dave

Hi,

Be sure to take pictures of before and after. Enjoy your new egg, and enjoy Nova Scotia---we loved Nova Scotia.

hello! I'm new here, too. We just bought our old Scamp, and we are still spiffing it up.. the worst things to deal with are leaks around the windows, etc. But it's almost done and I can't wait to get on the road with it....... and to put up some of the pics of the re-decorating job! We decided to paint it, and that can wait I guess- no need for a new paint job to use the thing!

Can't wait to see pics of your project.

Welcome Dave,

Is that the Trillium we talked about in on the shores of Lake Ontario? Where in NS you going? What time? Well be hopefully heading that way for the end of July beginning of Aug. You know there is an egg meet on PEI then?

Hi Dave!
Congratulations! Now plan a trip to Emily Prov park and Bolerama. Check out the dates and information in the camps section of this forum. Last year over 100 bolers, trilliums casitas, and others. On Sunday there's an open housewhen you can see what others have done. It,s only about an hour away for you. Straight up 35 hwy and across no 7.
A nd don't forget to wave when we pass.

Thanks Roy.

That is indeed the one. I will be heading east for the middle two weeks of August with a side trip down to New Hampshire to meet up with a friend. I did notice the PEI meet, too late to change my plans unfortunately. I'm heading to a specific event on the weekend of August 12/13 anyways, called "Explore Oak Island Days".

Instead of getting into details here, you can check out www.oakislandsociety.ca if you're curious!
