Hello from Ontario, Canada
We just brought home our new-to-us Triple E Surfside trailer. Very exciting and we can't wait for the snow to melt and the parks to open so we can get out there camping!

Congratulations, and welcome to a fellow Ontario resident. After our late season blizzard,
a new trailer leads inevitably to thoughts and plans for the warmer weather to come!

Welcome and congrats on your Surfside trailer. Congrats as well to the election of your latest Trudeu. By the looks of him maybe he could give Vladimir a go for it in the ring!
See you in the campgrounds!
John

Thanks all for the warm welcome!
Our Prime Minister Trudeau is a déjà vu experience for those of us who witnessed Trudeau Mania during our coming of age. Canadians knew who and what they were voting for in the last election.

errr... you mean a trust-fund dropout who's previous career was a part-time drama teacher and snow board instructor and would not have gotten a 2nd look if not for his last name...?

Maybe she should have said we knew what we were voting against.
But back to the Surfside. Nice looking woodwork and I like the jalousie windows.

I wasn't keen on the woodwork at first, thought I might paint it all white. But is growing on me. I think I'll concentrate on the floor, the curtains, and the cushion covers, when, perhaps even if, I ever decide to change things. We are taking on the advice not to change things until we have used the trailer for a while, to get a feel for things.
First things first though, a thorough cleaning inside and out is in order. Just waiting for the snow to melt before getting started.

Welcome to the FGRV websote. Nice to have another Ontarioan aboard. I currently have recorded 155 'active' Ontario members. You'll find loads of help aboard.

Welcome to the group and congrats on the EEE. PLEASE don't paint the wood, it's such a great look.

I like the wood and it is in almost perfect condition. The only reason I consider painting it is to lighten things up inside the trailer. There are superficial things that might do the trick, curtains, slipcovers, lights, lighter coloured flooring; I think I will give those things a try first and see how if it feels lighter in a year or two.
