Hello from Tennessee

I've been browsing the net for a few days trying to find some info on the camper I've just acquired, a 1974 Hunter Industries "Hunter I". A co-worker found it in a field being used as a storage shed and after a little haggling, he bought it and brought it home. It didn't take him long to figure out he may be in over his head on this little project, so I quickly jumped in and took it off his hands. It was pretty much gutted, but still had a few parts lying in it. The 2 burner stove and the sink are still in surprisingly good shape and the water tank is also in good shape. The trailer frame is good and solid, and for some reason it has new tires. Everything else is gone or will have to be ripped out. The fiberglass with the exception of what appears to be a bullet hole is in very good shape, considering what its been thru. Most of the glass has been the victim of kids and rocks, but the frames are good. I have a job ahead of me and wasn't sure where to start until I found this forum.
The wealth of information here is fantastic, and I hope to get started soon.
Until then I'll be reading and stealing ideas!

Welcome Jeff,
Nice find!
We share our ideas here.
I imagine most of the Welcome Wagon will pipe in after the long weekend.

Welcome ~!~!

Welcome ~!

I'm a newbie here myself just picking up a Compact Jr that is gutted as well. I've already learned quite a bit from the folks here already and have no doubt you can get all the advice you need.

Search some of the threads and you will find yourself the knowledge. Some of the folks here have done frame up reconstruction and all types of fiberglass repairs.

We're in good hands here ~!
