Hello From the PacNW

Just joined this forum, there is alot to see here.
My wife and I are looking forward to retirement and looking at new (or newer) trailer. Now we have a 1975 Winnebago 14, stick built. It's getting a little long in the tooth and developing a case of F.O.R.D. (fix or repair daily).
What I would like to look at is a Scamp 16 with the side dinette. I'm 6'1" so the high clearance of the scamp is very attractive.
Any pointers, options, or places to look would be appreciated

Hi from Victoria, BC, Dave,
You might like to check out the Escape trailers from Chilliwack. Their inside height is 6'2".
All the best,
Phil

If I understand correctly, the high clearance is in newer Scamps, so be sure that you get newer ones.
Eggcampers are tall, Uhauls, Burros are also tall. My 6'1" hubby was able to stand in both of the latter ones.

Welcome.

Dave, since you live in Seattle, why not take Phil's suggestion and check out the Escape trailers. Chilliwack is just over the boarder (use the Sumas crossing) or go to their web site, Escape Trailer Industries > Home
