Hello from three hilla

Hello I'm Derrick living in three hills Alberta. Originally from ladysmith on Vancouver island.
I am in the prosess of bring home a 13 foot Boler that was given to me. Been sitting in a feild since 1981. I think it's a 67 but that's just going off the tail lights don't know where to find the year.
It seems in good shape yet to see the inside it packed full of news paper and other papers. I think the mice chewed up the paper and left the fabrics alone.
Here are a few pics after we got it out 8 hours jacking pulling with 2 flat tires and one on my truck.

The papers poped the back window out so know any tips on putting it back in

Congratulations on a GOOD FIND!!!!!!!! Bill here

I found a '78 Trillium that had been used as a "hunters shelter" up in the mountains for a number of years. It was a mess! Your project is going to be
quite a challenge but little by little you can do it.

Before you go much farther be certain you will be able to provide the necessary documents to prove the former owner signed the trailer over to YOU. If you do not have any paperwork to prove transfer to you, you do have the license plate number(and the plate) to help establish the former owners.

When you empty the papers out of the trailer look carefully to be sure you don't throw any of the OWNERSHIP/Registration documents out. When someone converts a travel trailer to a trash storage shed, quite often they leave the important stuff iaying on the bottom of the pile DO NOT throw anything away that relates to the trailer even if it looks like junk.
I have been working on one from BC for almost a year; but I will give them
credit they are doing a great job checking for stolen cars.

The window should go back easily. Wash it and wrap it up until you are ready. Save the rubber molding as a sample. Duct tape a tarp over the hole or what ever works for you. SEE!! We KNEW you would get the hang of this "stuff"

Check back in often. Bed time for me

I'll post picks as I go.

Looks like you're a Datsun guy! The bottom picture convertible looks like a Fair Lady. Did you know it's got an MG engine in it (originally)?

Nice find on the camper! Oh, and I like your shop.
So the blue car is a Datsun? I would guess a Cadette.

Welcome Derrick! I agree with the others...what a find!
Perhaps, while you're waiting for your title, you could sift through those newspapers in your Boler right there on the spot. They'll biodegrade out in the weather, and make your load a lot lighter. But, like mentioned, sounds like a good idea to sort through them carefully for any important papers.
Re: back window, I've seen a youtube video of a fellow reinstalling the back window on his Boler. He said that Scamp Trailers Scamp Travel Trailers: Small Lightweight Campers, Easily Towable sells the rubber gasket that should fit your trailer. Hope this helps.
And, another WOW for all your restoration projects! You go guy! I'm overwhelmed with the two projects I have going. Of course, I don't have an enormous workspace like you. Have fun!
Take care,

Cool I used to date automobiles by the tail light lens imprint too

Tail light information works on an automobile that used proprietary parts. However, most trailers used that ubiquitous 7" round lens in the late 60's and 70's. Boler didn't make them in house. The first Bolers were made in 1968 and that year was distinctive for having a "flat" roof. They began the next year adding the raised center "Hump" that design has to this day. Squished? Oops, just saw your reply. Wonder if they'll come back to life. Good find on the title!
