Hey there folks!
We are just now introducing ourselves...though we've been devouring the forums here for the past several weeks. Really like the community you've all built here.
We ordered our
Scamp 13' this past week and are super excited to pick it up late next month!
This may be a little crazy, but we're selling most of our possessions, putting the rest in storage, and becoming full-timers right out of the gate. Oh, we've never stayed in an RV before, let alone lived in one. But hey, like John Muir said, sometimes you've got to just "throw some tea and bread into an old sack and jump over the back fence."
We're huge fans of the National Parks and National Forests, as well as state venues for camping, hiking, and so on. Our need for outdoor time has probably been heightened from being country mice living in the city (Washington, DC) for the past few years. And while we've explored the heck out of this part of the country, we can't wait to explore more! And head west...and south...and north....
We're looking forward to becoming a part of this wise and welcoming community of adventurers and we'll see you all on the other side of that back fence!
