Glad that you didn't post "and we've completely gutted it" like a lot of first posts. Research first. Then act.

Warning: Fiberglass contains active agents that can lead to "Mod Fever" with complications that entail an immense outlay of time, energy, and $.
There is no known cure.

no way..all original as far as I Know and want to keep it that way. Super clean it, tires, get everything working then the personalization starts.

In our state the local cops verify the VIN # on the registration application. As a total newbie, I called and asked whether I should hook up and drive to the station and was told: No, no, that would not be legal, we'll drive up. The VIN was verified, she liked the Scamp and nobody asked how it got to my driveway, town and state. One of the first good memories I made with my Scamp four years ago.
Welcome, robert.

Welcome, Robert. Good to have you here. Seems that alot of folk in California have gotten new rigs lately..and joined us.
The more, the merrier!
There's a zillion things to learn here and friendly folk happy to share their knowledge.
How did you come across your camper? And how long had you been searching?

hi, craigslist and not long..I was looking for a used slide in and saw this out near palm springs. I thought wow looks cool and not beat up. Think it was parked for 20 years cause the last tag was 95.
