Hello! I'm an excited new proud 1982 Burro owner!

What a blessing this site is, thank you! My Burro, Gidget is in relatively great shape. I'm lucky! Basically I'll be doing a cosmetic reno on her.

Here's my one question of the day:
She has the a/c unit in her right side window. I live right on the California coast and would much rather have the fresh air and light from a window. Could anyone recommend a company that does replacement windows for a 1982 Burro or a direction I can explore? It's such an eye sore for me, thank you!

-Crystal & Luna

Hi Crystal,

If the frame with the track grooves in your Burro side window is still intact, any competent glass shop can make replacement acrylic slider windows and screens for your Burrito.

Thanks Rick! I have a phone call into a guy who does custom windows for boats, I'm keeping my fingers crossed he'll help me out. Thanks for the info!

There is a Burro manual on this site Carla! I'm on a work related trip and only have my iPad so I can't direct you but once I get home to my laptop, I think I can figure out how to get to it and post a link.

On the main page of Fiberglassrv.com there is a link on the left that will take you to the Document Center were you will find manuals for many different brands and ages of trailers as well as appliances etc.
