I am the proud owner of a 1982 Toyota Santana,pop up motorhome. It's my baby I have drove it from Okc to Logan county Wv and from there to South Carolina and after that I went several trips to Ohio and then back to Okc.
I love the little thing I never had any problems in the hills of Wv and I averaged 23 mpg.
It will easily cruise at 75 mph all day everyday.

Welcome to the FGRV forum family Dave. It sounds like you have a keeper there. Back around 1977 we test drove a Chinook fiberglass pop-up motorhome that I believe was on a Toyota chassis, but I don't remember what motor was in it, but on flat ground in a head wind, 45mph was the best I could do. We bought a VW camper bus instead, then a couple of pop-up tent trailers pulled by VW diesel rabbits, then a couple 13' Scamps, then our Lil Snoozy.
