Hi all from new member

I am in Nova Scotia ready to escape the cold (already) and am looking for a 13' Scamp (or similar). Tow vehicle is a Subaru Forester

Welcome to the FGRV forum family. We had really enjoyed our 13’ Scamps over the years. Best of luck with your search. I do hope you will find navigating this web site classifieds easy.
Happy Trails

The tow vehicle might be a problem, even with many Scamp 13s... . do careful research.

Welcome Bluenoser!

We are pulling a '79 Boler with our Forester and are being very careful to keep the Boler weight below 1500lb--with electric brakes.

The only difference we can find between the Forester and the Subaru Outback, which has a higher towing capacity, is that the Outback has larger brake rotors. This suggests that stopping, not towing, is the limitation.
I agree with the comment - do your research.
