Hi Everybody....

I'm guessing that I'm the newest kid on the block, having just joined a few hours ago. I'm also guessing that everybody can pretty much figure out both my name and my location by my forum handle.

My wife and I are the proud owners of a recently purchased, and in need of much repair, 1973 Love Bug. If we're really lucky, I'll be able to get it ready enough to attend Matagorda Madness, since I've already signed us up.

I'm now off to find the appropriate forum to ask my first question.

Welcome aboard, Stan. I'm an "old pro" here with a huge 3 1/2 months since I bought my Burro. I can tell you that the folks here are friendly and more eager to swap information and help than to keep things neatly pigeon holed. If you put your question in anything like an appropriate place, you will get helpful responses without having to worry about forum Nazis jumping all over you... they don't know about fiberglass yet!! Just be friendly and you will find that folks here are friendly too. Be sure and post lots of pix of your egg and of progress on any repairs upgrades to help the rest of us with our projects.
