Newbie here to trailer camping, and am interested in getting a Scamp. Have camped in tents in the past, but have decided to move up to more comfort! Located in Upstate South Carolina, and would love to see yours if you're nearby. I know there is a Rally coming up in Cherokee NC in October, but my schedule won't allow me to go. Will be using a 1997 Toyota 4Runner V6 straight drive with heavy duty towing package as TV.
Any tips, suggestions, or guidance is appreciated.

Hi Jan, welcome to FiberglassRV. Are you only interested in new? If used is also a possibility, I'd suggests making yourself comfortable with the brands on the home page. It would be sad, for instance, if a Love Bug came up for sale in your town and you didn't know it was an egg! There are other brand besides the ones on the home page, but it will get you started.

Hi Donna! Yes, we are looking for used as well. Figure the more we can save, the more we can travel! We initially were thinking about a Scamp, but we also want to look at Casita as well as others. Have't been able to look at any small fiberglass campers except some huge ones in our area. If anyone is in upstate SC we would love to see your camper. Also, if anyone is going to be set up at the Cherokee NC Rally before Oct. 9th, we could come by as we're only 3 hours away, and that is a beautiful day trip there! Thx!
