Hi from Bill in Wisconsin

Been looking for an egg for a few years. Found a 1983 Burro about 6 weeks ago.
Dealer did not have it ready for over 3 weeks. They put new tires and rims on it
and repacked the bearings. The exterior was in very good condition for a thirty year old trailer. The inside not so great. Started the rehab but have a long way to go.
Have been using this awesome site for ideas and advice. Seems like a great group!

If you aren't too far and can join us please do.

A lot of our rigs should have gotten at least new tires and a bearing pack before coming home. I know mine should have. I fixed it with a new axle, wheels, and tires though! Congrats on your new Burro. Don't let the resto keep you from using it. Go camping and work on it inbetween!

Burro First Time Out

Took the Burro up to our lake the last few days. Pulled pretty nice. Had a few problems but small stuff. The bed is pretty comfy but I think adding one of those foam toppers would really make it nice. Like the sound of the rain on the fiberglass I find it soothing.Still have a lot of work to do but it has been MOSTLY funso far. Put mini blinds on the side windows and really like them but not sure of the best way to mount to the front and rear yet. Would like to go to the MN gathering but the wife is working. Very tired and rambling so good night to all.

Welcome Bill.

I'm over in Beaver Dam.

I'll be heading up to Taylor Falls once again without my husband. I'm pretty sure everyone is beginning to think I made him up.
