We have acquired a 1977
Boler 17 ft trailer from my sister. It has been sitting on a lakeshore property and used very little since 1994.
I have had it into an RV center and had it looked over. So far, I'm into repairs for
$2200 - includes new
tires, rims, flash and flood check, new regulator, new break away switch, rebuilt
propane lines.
It is now road-worthy, and will need interior/exterior cleaning, repair of some of the cupboards ( come away from wall), but overall the bearings,
axle, exterior, interior is in fairly decent shape.
We still have to do work on
fridge compartment,
furnace air manifold, gas valve, 110v plug, marker
lights, toilet valve, and potable water drain.
We plan to either park it somewhere permanent to go to and camp at or to tow around to campsites, mostly in BC.
Wonder if you have advice about cleaning the exterior, or the interior, and where to get replacement cushions as the orginals are old, dried out, and used.
Thanks for any sage advice to newbies looking forward to camping with kids/grandkids!
