Hi from Eugene, Oregon!
Greetings from Eugene, Oregon. My name's Bob. We have done the motorhome thing for about 10 years, but now that the kids are grown and gone, we're in the market for something a little more manageable!
I'm in the market for a fiberglass trailer - don't have any specific brand in mind. My preference would be something that needs some work/updating, since I'd want to customize whatever I have anyway and I have some skills. My wife's preference is that it has a plumbed-in toilet with holding tank. Other than that, we're pretty open. Likely something in the 13'-19' span.
I look forward to learning more about this community and its members. From what I've seen, this appears to be a great site!

There's a fiberglass trailer rally coming up in Oregon in April. Definitely the best way to look at a lot of different trailers and talk to knowledgeable owners.

It makes it easy to look and compare the different manufacturers and models RIGHT THERE.

Bob
Welcome!
I am from Springfield, Oregon and just purchased a 2013 17' Casita SD that was mislabeled as a Coleman last fall at a large RV dealer in the area. I am happy to let you see our Casita if you are interested. We used to have a 23' stick built when the kids were at home and took a few years off after that. We are now ready to try the fiberglass life style for a variety of reasons. If you have any questions about it I would be happy to try and answer them although you may know more than me. This is a great site and I could tell you about a few others.

Welcome Bob. Another good site is
casitaforum.com
Mostly Casitas obviously, but others also.
Good luck with the hunt and hope to see you on the road.

Welcome, Bob from Eugene!
Donna's advice is good. Since you won't find them at dealers or RV shows for the most part, a rally is the best way to see a lot of makes and models in one place.
Meantime, check out the thread Trailer Weights in the Real World, which gives loaded-for-travel weights and tongue weights of many makes and models. That may help you narrow things down a bit. Post #297 links to a spreadsheet you can filter and get averages.
Best wishes in your "egg hunt"!
