Welcome, Claire!
Wow, full-timing in a 10'x6.5' space for 3.5 years! You put all the tiny house denizens to shame... Working or retired? Staying put in one place or roaming?

Hi Claire,
I think we met at the 2nd Annual Eggs on the Hiawassee in GA back I'm May, correct?
How are you?
Take care,
Dean

hi, jon, i have rental homes in north texas that i manage, so i come back to lake dallas sometimes for a couple of days, sometimes for a longer period, depending on what needs to be done to the homes. roaming when finances allow. retired 3/26/2014 from a 40 yr full time rn career. have volunteered with the army coe on lake bardell, tx as their receptionist/customer service rep, and just started a new part time job yesterday. still learning to balance work (which comes naturally to me) and play.
my casita has proven to be the perfect size for me and i have now met/befriended several solo full timers living in the 13ft trailers, one lady in an old burro, another female in a 1985 casita PD and a man in a 2012 scamp. probably many others out there i haven't met yet. life is good!
how about you? full timing in your scamp? retired? safe travels..........

You have the work part figured out...
It is time to emphasize the play, particularly if you are healthy. Check out on youtube what some fulltimers are doing. There was a thread here a week or two ago recommending some. There are also a lot of fulltimers there I wouldn't care to emulate.
One I enjoyed last night was Keep your Daydream. Another is Long Long Honeymoon. CheapRVliving is quirky but entertaining. ...And no my situation doesn't mirror any of those. Good luck.

I did live in a 10' trailer my first year teaching and a 24' trailer for 4 years after that. Always parked in one place. When I married, we drove past a large RV park near our home and my wife said, "promise me you'll never make me live in one of those." So, it's a big step that we go out in the Scamp regularly for up to a week at a time. Our next step is a longer 2 week trip up the Pacific Coast, currently in planning stages. Baby steps.
I don't foresee full-timing, nor a traditional full retirement from my work. But more travel... we'll see! Hope to cross paths some day.
