Hi Rod, welcome to FiberglassRV. We're glad you're here
Are you looking for something in particular? New or used?
You'll find lots of kind and helpful people here. And, we like two things just about the most... pictures and questions!
Good luck on your egg hunt!

Thank you for the welcome. I'm thinking of going with a used Scamp if I can find one, I drive a 04 Jeep Rubicon so I think a 16 footer will work. Most likely will be looking to buy in about 6 weeks or so.

Scamp has 4 or 5 different layouts. Any of those peak your interest? Remember, we're going into camping season in most of the country. You will not find a Scamp for sale on every street corner (unlike a stickie). It may take you a lot longer to find the perfect trailer for you.. than you think. Just don't want you to have unreasonable expectations...
Best of luck!

I have pulled a 1984 13' Scamp with a 1997 TJ Wrangler, and now a 2007 Rubicon pulling a 1990 13' Scamp. Mileage was around 10.5 mpg average towing, and really makes the Jeep work to pull any mountain grades. Tow ratings for either vehicle was 2000 lbs. I believe the 16' Scamps when in true camping form will weigh more than 2000 lbs.
Good Luck
Dave & Paula

Welcome from another Wisconsinite! We are not retired yet, but have enjoyed many lovely WI camping locations. Our Jeep Sport pulls the 13' UHaul with no problems.
