Hi! I am.....

Hi!
This summer I checked an item off my bucket list - I did a road trip with a vintage trailer through the Maritimes in Canada. It was amazing and I fell in love with it! We rented a 1973 13' Boler named Yvette. Now I have the itch.
Unfortunately, my 6'1" husband was less enamoured of the Boler, because it was a bit short for him, and after 7 rainy days camping, he just wanted to stand up straight, inside.

Now I'm saving, and hunting for the right project.
Under 1500lbs so I can tow with my Forester, and over 6' high, with at least a full double & space for 2 kids.
I love a challenge.

Cara

Check out the "Trailer Weights in the Real World" thread on FGRV (use the Search button at the top of the page) but know that 1500 pounds is pretty light for something taller and with room for 4.

Good luck! Enjoy the search, see if you can attend some rallies/gatherings to check out different models. Your husband does deserve something tall enough for him.

BEST
