Hi. I am a new member
Hi
I own a 1977 Triple E , Surf Side. 14 ft
I am in the middle of a restoration. My wife and I are so looking forward to completing our little camper, so we can hit the road with it behind our van.
It had been in storage since 1982, and needs very little to restore. Carpet, drapes, new roof vent, new inverter, etc.
We are now looking for an 8 ft long awning that slides into the groove, and the poles to go with it.
Lucky for us, the previous owners had taken the cushions out in 1982 and stored them inside their home, so they are still like new.

What is the floor plan of your trailer? Is it a front kitchen, or side kitchen? We love pictures.

Welcome to FGRV, Bryan. Congratulations on your new trailer. Looks really nice. Curious why the PO left it in storage so long... did you ask? To be only the second owner of a trailer that old and to be in a position to get its full history is unusual. Hope you'll document it somewhere. With pictures, of course!

hi, Bryan
We also own a Triple E Surf Side 14 ft but a 1978 I did a little bit of work inside. We live in Newfoundland and haven't left the island yet. To much to do and see. I was born in B.C. but I have lived here since 1980. I hope you have as much fun in your trailer as we do.So welcome aboard .

Welcome Bryan, as far as the awning goes I remember years ago people would find rope that fit in the groove then get a tarp the size you want and fish the rope thru a hem in the tarp and snake it into the groove. You can find poles at any camping store or online. If this works it may be the easiest way to get an awning, good luck.

Hi, I too have a Triple E Surfside, 1979. We just bought it a month ago and yet to test it out, but will do so this weekend. We can do this in BC at this time of year!! Good luck with your project. Keep in touch, as maybe we can help each other with parts etc!!
Cheers
Harvey
