Hi I am Drew from MO.

Hello, my wife and I had been searching for a camper to fix up and we may have bit off more than we can chew. I can't wait to get started though. We found a 1969 Aalight fiberglass camper in pretty rough shape. I have background in building limos and other custom cars so I'm hoping that experience will help, although I'm a bit intimidated by the plumbing and electrical hookup. I feel the structural and cosmetic stuff will be right up my alley though. Thanks in advance for all the help.

From the pics it seems to be molded fiberglass all right, but in three layers instead of two. Is that correct? Pretty unique. And wow, does it look big for a FG. How long is it?
The longest I know of is a 28' Bigfoot limited edition. Saw one at the factory in Armstrong, there for some repairs in '17.

Interesting trailer! I googled "Aalight travel trailer" and "Aalight camper" and came up with nothing. Is that spelled correctly?

Andrew! What a unique and fun project! Please keep us up to date. As far as the electrical and plumbing, YouTube has tons of info on simple DIY. Plumbing sort of works or doesn't, electrical would be good to have someone with the knowledge to double-check your plans and application.
Best of Luck,
Jini and Meagan
