he would like to replace the rear
axle with a better riding system. I THINK this is a dexter torsion
axle?? But really don't know. Looks like you can easily unbolt the rear end. Are there any good links or sites to order a new rear? he is doing a remodel (gut and redo every inch of it) to be safe i would bet you need a 2k lbs+
axle. Or some how add a lift kit, shocks, and taller wheels. I have been searching this forum and
Casita club. Just looking and getting ideas what others have done. Thanks for your time. Once we know that we can support the added
weight. Next steps; Take the shell off (touch a few holes and reseal all
windows..etc), repaint (or powder coat) the frame.. and work our way up. Any help or ideas you have we'll take it.
Wiring kits (12V) for all new
lights, leds, small gas
generator,
Solar panel, window AC unit, inside wall damping/insulation, if anyone has any plans (to scale) for woodworking. as you can tell he and i will be busy. It will be a fun restore project (if and when we can find free time).
