Hi! I am Jean

Hi all! I just discovered this forum and am psyched! My husband and I bought a Casita 3 years ago. My RAV 4 has been an amazing tow vehicle. Drove from NJ to Texas to pick him up and have been everywhere on the east coast since! Just saw the egg gathering in NY in Oct! That's so exciting because all the rallies we have seen are mid to far west. I work full time, so we would never make it to the west coast and back in my allotted vacation time. We are definitely interested! So excited to find you guys!!

Hi Jean to FiberglassRV, we're glad you're here!

Gatherings are an EXCELLENT way to meet like-minded people and talk about maintenance, mods and camping experiences. Glad you've found one you may be able to attend.

Pics? Do you have pics?

Thanks guys! Still figuring the forum out but I have tons of pics! So excited to meet more egg owners! Other than Rice TX, we have only ever seen one other egg in a campground. A Scamp a few weeks ago in Gatlinburg TN. Nicest couple ever! Can't wait to meet more!

Jean, welcome and hope you can make it up here to the Copake rally which is about 30 miles or so from us. We too have been to Assateague and Chincoteague, but with a pop up, not our Uhaul.

Hope to meet you all at the Copake rally in Oct. How are the skeeters at Chincoteague? They were pretty bad on the bayside at Assateague two weeks ago. I replaced the weatherstripping on my screen door when we got home.

Hi Jack! Looking forward to meeting the gang in October! We actually went to Chincoteaque last May and the bugs weren't so bad. We usually try camping out of season when it's less crowded and not so hot. Since it was not crowded, we had lots of visits from the horses which was cool, but sometimes a little intimidating!
