Hi I am Mark

Been lurking around for a while soaking up all the knowledge. We picked up our new Armadillo on the weekend and are looking forward so seeing some of you out in the wild!

Thanks to all who have posted their knowledge and answered my questions

Armadilo

Next best thing to a Boler. Congrats! We were eyeing these too, but not in the budget!

Hi Mark, great looking trailer. Come and join us in July if you are on or near the Island.

Hi Mark. We are also interested in the Armadillo. I walked through it at the Abbotsford RV show. I’m attracted to the insulated double wall design. The quality of construction looks good. Can you tell me how warm it is when pushing 3 seasons? Also l, what are you towing it with? I know I need to upgrade from my FWD RAV4 but don’t want to go F150 big.

Anachron, That would have been our trailer you walked though last week. As we just got it I can't really comment on how warm it is just yet. I suspect that the insulated construction is going to stand up well to our cool and wet BC weather. I will keep you posted.

We are towing it with a GMC Canyon and with the trailer brakes you can hardly notice that the trailer is there. So slight bouncing over bumps but no noticeable pushing or swing. We went to the 15" wheels to get some increased clearance and also to get it closer to the height of our truck. We the Canyon I don't plan to by trailer mirrors as the rear view with the side mirrors is fine.

I don't see any reason that you would need to go up to a F150 or similar sized truck.

Hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions you have.

Mark

Welcome, Mark, what a darling trailer! I like the two-tone, always have.

Best with it, happy trails, good camping.

May you fare well wherever you fare.
