Hi, I am Mat

My Wife Sam and I picked up a '76 Boler in the spring of 2015. When I went to remove the previous license plate, I found that it spent some time out in B.C before we got it.

We are currently working on filling our Manitoba Provincial Parks Passport before moving on to bigger adventure. Though we did make it out to Banff and Lake Louise for a wedding last year.

My winter project is replacing the Cargo box on the back of our trailer with a cedar strip one, made to match the canoes my dad built (I'll update my progress in another thread).

Thanks,

Mat

Hi Mat. I hope you're enjoying the forum. Your Boler looks great--nice colour composition with the sunflowers too.
Did you replace the axel? I notice that the trailer is sitting nice and high off the ground?

Hi Mat,

Love your plan for the cargo box to match the canoes! I checked out the other thread as well.

Hope you have seen the information under the Rally thread about the Manitoba Rally and that you will plan to come.

Hi Bob,

Yes we plan to come again this year, we ran into the organizer on our first trip out last year to otter falls.

Reeves 99,

Thinking of switching the axle out for one with breaks but haven't yet. One of the previous owners has installed a spacer between the frame and the axle. I think it sits 2" high.

Thanks Dean!
