Hi I am Teresa and my husband is Dathan

Hi all!

We are looking to go to an "egg" from an Avion Minihome. We need something that needs less mechanical work. We also want to be able to unhook to drive around easily for day adventures. I like the Scamp and I really like Parkliner, but I am not sure I want to go to a brand new camper.

Both good choices, whatever you decide. If you're patient, used Parkliners do come up from time to time, but you may have to drive to get it.

Welcome, and best wishes in your transition to the world of eggs!

The advantage of new is you get to choose the options. Scamp has lots of options. If you buy used you get the options somebody else wanted.

Well things worked out rather smoothly. I did not really want to wait- and had loan approval, I called Casita and they had a completed unit just come available! It had what we wanted, was $4K less than the way we wanted a Parkliner built. I still haven't gotten my packet from Scamp- so we are going with Casita. Have pickup planned for two weeks!

Congratulations, that is pretty cool. Much better than my little over a year wait.

In the molded fiberglass universe, that's not rather smoothly. That's greased lightning quick!

Wishing you happy (and mechanically uneventful) travels!
