Buongiorno Marfa,
Pardon my Italian! My mother is of Italian descent but I did not learn the language. My name, Gilda, comes from the opera Rigoletto by Verdi.
My husband and I went to Italy last year for 3 weeks. We went to the Amalfi coast, Abruzzi and Tuscany. We love Italy...the food, the people, the beauty of the land!
We saw many small caravans in Italy. We saw one "caravan park" in Florence. It is difficult for Americans to drive in Italy because everyone goes so fast. I don't understand how Italians can drive caravans on narrow, curvy streets.
We saw many old (vintage) trailers used as offices at parking lots.
We're glad that you share our love for travel and camping.
When you come to the U.S.A. you can rent a caravan and drive through our beautiful country.
