Hi I’m ReadytoRoll...

I just bought a 1972 Trillium 1300! I was looking for quite awhile and then I seized the day. I have work to do I know. There are a lot of great ideas out there and very helpful people. Im so glad to have this site as a resource to help in the effort to bring my new baby back to her old self. I plan on making the interior resemble a ‘50s diner.

Congratulations, Beth!

One thing to check very soon, if you haven't already: the bolts that hold the shell to the frame. Some have found many rusted and loose.

Happy camping!

Welcome to the gang Beth. There is loads of experience here on this site and also a lot of opinions. The most important thing I found in having an egg to go camping in is to GO CAMPING. You can fix it as you want along the way but one can also get overwhelmed and not enjoy it after a while.
Go Camping.

Welcome to FGRV Beth. Gerry has it right, check the tires for age, check and repack the wheel bearings and make sure the wiring is good to go...and go camping. Oh, and we need pics of your new addition or it's just a fish story of the one that got away . I like your idea of a 50s theme as we had the same 40s/50s thing in the kitchen of our last house. I've still got the 1934 GE Monitor Top refer. Would be great in a themed TT but at around 300#s.......
