Hi I picked up the 1974 Amerigo

Welcome, Don!

Congratulations on your purchase! We've seen several interesting Amerigo projects lately. Hope yours does not become as involved as some of the others, but even if it does, they are nice trailers: right-sized and a very workable layout. Best wishes getting yours fixed up and on the road!

Welcome aboard Don

Hi Don

Looks like a great find. I am located about 50 minutes south of you.

You might want to come to a camp out at Kohler Andre Park by Lake Michigan Apr 28 to May 1, or Eggs at Egg Harbor.

Hope to see you around.

Hope you will show us some interior photos of your Amerigo find.

And same as Bill posted–please consider joining the rally at Egg Harbor.

Congrats Don! I'm south of you just north of Milwaukee.
I am going to the Cooler Near the Lake 10 but will be in Ohio
during the Egg Harbor event. Enjoy your trailer and hope to
see you at some events.

Still have your Amerigo? If so, do you know if there is a site that sells old Amerigo parts?

I still have it and use it. Didn't get far on restore yet (other issues came up)
So far I purchased most of my parts (tires, rubber seals, lights) at
( www.ebay.com/usr/randpcarriages ) Randcarriages. The most difficult problem that I have not found a solution to is the window pushouts- nobody makes them- still working on it

Amerigo window pushouts

Someone on this forum actually made new pushouts using aluminum stock. I have limited network access at the moment otherwise I would try to find the post. Press search link at the top of this page then do a Google search from that link.
