Hi Guys!
I decided to register and emerge from the shadows after reading through the forum for the last couple months! I am the lucky new owner of an "official" Randy Bishop
Trillium 4500! I am happy to have a new project on my hands but oh boy am I a little overwhelmed
Luckily Randy took care of some of the bigger repairs here. Happy to see he welded some plates on the A-frame bends in the frame, ran some new
electrical and resealed all the
windows. The body looked like it was in great shape and all the original interior fixtures were included. Definitely a great trailer!
So far the list of what my wife and I want to do has ballooned into quite a large number of things. So I had to kinda break it down a little
For "Must Do" I have
- Repack and/or replace bearings
- Finish wiring and install new trailer plug
- Install and inspect propane system
- Install new battery + tongue box
- Install and check all plumbing, sinks, toilet, tanks, inlet
- Fix all roof leaks (a couple small areas need some new butyl and hardware)
- Check status of brakes and replace if necessary
And the "Eventually Do" list.. much longer..
- Replace all cabinet doors
- Install flooring
- Install shelving, storage, shoe bags, etc
- Roof fan or AC unit
And that's not the end of it. We are liable to gut and repaint the whole shell if we aren't careful. But I would like to get this thing usable first and test it out before we do anything crazy.
So that's it! I am happy to have a new project on my hands and I'm glad to be are part of the FGRV community!
Oh and almost forgot... Pictures!
