Smile Hi, I'm Dwight from Round Rock Texas

I'm retiring at the end of this year and we just bought an Aliner A-Frame pop-up....because we can store it in our garage....and we can camp with it...

I retire at the end of the year, and the wife in about 5 years.... assuming good health for both, we then plan to trade in or sell the Aliner and get a FG (probably)....I figure I might as well learn about them in the meantime....thanks and see you on the road.....

Might want to join the brand forums; Escape and Oliver both have one, and the Casita folks have two. More detailed information and customizations are discussed than you'll usually find on this forum.

Welcome, Dwight!

Since you're not in a hurry, one way to get a first hand look at a variety of "egg" types is to attend a rally. Some have an open house time, but even if not, most owners are happy to show off their trailers. As far as I know, a non-molded trailer would be welcome to register and attend. Information is in the "Rallies,..." section of the forum.

Best wishes!

Welcome to FGRV James. Plus 1 on Charlie's & Jons advice. One of the best things about this site is how willing members are to answer any questions. So, if you want to learn about our molded trailers....ask away.
