Hi I'm Greg

My wife and I are planning to try and get an '81 BigFoot 17' foot trailer back on the road. It was my parent's and has been sitting for a decade. This looks like a great forum and I'm hoping to get some advice on how to proceed with the renovation. I'll be moving it up to the city onto my driveway in a week or so. The main issure is a roof that has leaked and the resulting interior damage. I'm wondering where I should post photos and ask for advice on this forum. Thanks!

Welcome, Greg!

So glad to hear the Bigfoot is going to get a new lease on life. I don't think it matters greatly in which category you post, but since this sounds like a fairly extensive project, "Mods, Alterations, and Updates" is where a lot of the big renovation projects get posted. How about starting with some "Before" shots?

Best wishes!

Thanks for welcoming me to the board! I will try and get some pictures of the current state of the trailer posted soon. I think the water got in around the vent/fan but not 100% sure.

Take lots of pictures and post them. I'm sure someone will recognize your issue and have some great advice.
