Hi, I'm Moe from Alaska

Hi there. I just joined this site to get some feedback about fiberglass motorhomes. I am specifically interested in the 18ft Sunrader, but any input into other low-MPG rigs would be appreciated. If anyone has a Sunrader for sale at a reasonable price ($4000-7000 seems more than reasonable for a 30 year old vehicle), please let me know. I am an Archaeologist, hoping to be road-tripping and site-hopping the desert Southwest this spring/summer/autumn, so anything in the region from Seattle-Santa Fe is of interest to me.
Thanks,
-Moe

Hi More and welcome to the grou[p
The primary audience on this site is molded fiberglass towables and there is almost a zero audience for your search. However, if you check in and join this group:
toyota-campers@yahoogroups.com
You will get lots of help.
BTW: On that site I am known as Sunrader Bob

Hi, Moe, and welcome to FGRV!

So, now that you're here, we can start convincing you that what you really need is a small fiberglass trailer, since that's what this forum is about.

Nice thing about a trailer is you can leave it at a campsite while you explore back roads. I'm guessing most archaeological sites are not on the freeways…

Whatever you decide to do, have a great trip!

You have come to a fiberglass trailer spot so stop and check out the alterative you just may become a convert.

We enjoy the fact we can drop and explore, setup is quick and easy. Bathroom is a toilet shower combo but works fine. Lots of room for us or with the grandkids. We like to go to wilderness spots so not water or hydro hookups. Furnace shower and bathroom a must 3 way fridge, and stove for rainy days. Pulls like a dream and less gas than a motor home would use.
