Hi Richard and welcome! Congratulations on your purchase as well as your retirement.

We wintered in Florida last year and travelled around, down to the Keys and back up again. Beautiful state. What area do you live in? Perhaps you would be interested in attending the rally in early June near Live Oak. You can view the info on the sidebar just below the photos in the trailer showcase. It's on the Suwanee River. A rally is an excellent opportunity to meet up with like-minded folk and tour their rigs to get ideas and info. But the best reason to go is to meet new friends. And I think you just missed the rally at HIghland Hammock SP, which I believe was in February...but there's always next year.

And I'll repeat myself to you, as I have made the same comment to Richard and Aldrene, who are also new----we love photos!! Should you have some, please post 'em.

Thank you all.

Thank you all for the warm welcoming and well wishes.
Theresa: We live in Lake Wales appox. 45 minutes from Highland Hammocks. Unfortunately in early June, we will be in Northern Banks of NC. with friends. But we were just talking about going to a few rallies next year and Looking forward to them. I will keep and eye out in the forums for the postings. I wouldlove to find out ideas for storage in our 16 ft. Scamp. Like where to put our clothes etc. Once again thanks, and I will post pictures.

This link, from the "More" tab at the top right, has all the known rallies for this year: 2017 Rally Map. Clicking on a rally pulls up information and, in some cases, a link to the thread for that rally. Many are annual events, so you could put them on your radar for 2018 if you can't make it this year.

Another useful feature is the "Site Search/Google" in the "Search" menu (in the task bar just under your log-in information. For best results use the Google-based search at the bottom. Here's one thread with lots of ideas for tweaking the utility of a Scamp 16: Preparing a 1991 Scamp 16

Time to go camping!
